Our Learning Space
The Dow Street Community Music School at 1272 Dow Street has seven teaching rooms for individual lessons, one teaching room for group lessons, and a performance hall that seats about 90 people.
The building was originally built in 1980 and was used for dental offices over many years. Building renovations began in April 2022 and continued through February 2023. This work included removing walls to create a performance space, updating electrical and plumbing systems, adding an accessibility ramp outside, relocating and upgrading restrooms.
