Lessons and Summer Camps & Intensives

Private Lessons

Our Private Lessons include lessons for violin, viola, cello, bass, piano, guitar, voice, and more!

• Cost for lessons:
30 minutes: $34 per lesson
45 minutes: $47 per lesson
60 minutes: $60 per lesson

• Length of Term:
Spring: 15 weeks – Now Registering Students!
Summer: 8 weeks

Summer Camps and Intensives

June 16-20: Beginner Violin Camp (ages 6-11) – no playing experience or less than one year of playing experience
July 7-11: Advanced String Orchestra Camp (ages 12 and up) intermediate and advanced players. Audition required
July 21-25: Intermediate String Camp (ages 10 and up) – 1-3 years of playing experience in lessons or school orchestra
July 28-August 1: Dow Street Chamber Music Intensive with MTSU faculty (open to high school, college, and adult students) – Dr. Dawson- violin and Dr. Hayslett- cello. Audition required

Cost for camps and intensives: $220 each

Middle Tennessee Cello Academy

July 25-27: Middle Tennessee Cell0 Academy (open to high school and college students)

Cost: $110

Group Ukulele Lessons – Children

Ages 6 – 10
Groups of 4 – 6 students per class (45 minutes each)
Weekly lessons are $25 per student for a semester total of $375 for a 15-week term
Day/Time to be determined based on enrollment

Group Guitar Lessons – Adults

Groups of 4 – 6 students per class (45 minutes each)
Weekly lessons are $25 per student for a semester total of $375 for a 15-week term
Day/Time to be determined based on enrollment

Group Voice Lessons

Group Voice Lessons for children ages 6 – 10.

45 minutes (15 weeks/1 times a week) $300

Families of scholarship students and families with discounts for more than one child taking lessons should pay in person, so the correct fees can be charged.

Payments for Semester Lessons

• Methods of payment include cash, check, money order, online through the website or at the school. (3 % is added to online payments for bank processing fees.)

• A downpayment of at least 2 lessons is required by the first lesson day. Inquire about scheduling a payment plan for lesson fees.

• Payments for scholarships students and sibling discounts should be in person, so the correct fees can be charged.
