2024 Summer Camps

The camps will have small numbers of students, so your child/teen will get individual attention.

We are taking registrations now. All camps cost $180.

Watch for information about additional camps to be added to the schedule soon!! We are planning a camp for students with more than 3 years of playing experience for July.

Beginner Violin Camp

June 3 – 7
9:00am – noon

String Camp I

8:30am – noon
For late beginners and early intermediate students. (Recommended for ages 10 and older who have 1-3 years of experience in lessons and/or school orchestra.)

Woodwind Camp

String Camp II

July 8 – 12
8:30am – noon
For intermediate and advanced players. (Recommended for players age 12 and older.)

Spring 2024 Programs

Spring 2024 Classes began the week of January 22 and will end on May 13. Inquire now by emailing info@dowstreetmusic.org or completing an interest inquiry form if you’d like to join our season already in progress.

Note: Registration for the semester should be completed by the first day of lessons (with ½ of tuition paid). Remaining tuition is due at mid-semester.

Important Dates:

March 25-30: Spring Break ( no classes)
May 17-19: Recitals

Private Lessons

Our Private Lessons include lessons for violin, viola, cello, bass, piano, guitar, voice, and more!

• Cost for lessons:
30 minutes: $34 per lesson
45 minutes: $47 per lesson
60 minutes: $60 per lesson

• Length of Term:
Fall: 15 weeks
Spring: 15 weeks
Summer: 8 weeks

Group Violin Lessons For Beginners

Available in the Fall and Spring.

Group Voice Lessons

Group Voice Lessons for children ages 6 – 10.

45 minutes (15 weeks/1 times a week) $300

Families of scholarship students and families with discounts for more than one child taking lessons should pay in person, so the correct fees can be charged.

Payments

• Methods of payment include cash, check, money order, online through the website or at the school. (3 % is added to online payments for bank processing fees.)

• A downpayment of 4 lessons is required at registration. Inquire about scheduling a payment plan for lesson fees.

• Payments for scholarships students and sibling discounts should be in person, so the correct fees can be charged.
